Installation is the page where honesty about Oklahoma law matters most, because the state regulates the connections, not the appliance. A technician can uncrate, level, stack, convert, and test a machine on its existing working hookups all day. The moment the job involves the home's water, drain, wiring, or gas, a license is required, and this service names that license in the quote instead of hiding it in a line item.
Water and drain: licensed plumbing
Oklahoma's Plumbing License Law counts every pipe, fixture, and appliance connected to the home's water supply or drain as plumbing, and the only repair it exempts is faucets and minor fixture parts. So a new dishwasher supply line, a washer standpipe, an ice-maker line tapped off the kitchen supply, or a water heater connection is a licensed plumber's work. The technician can set the dishwasher in the cabinet and the plumber makes the connections; the quote tells you which hands do which part and what each costs.
Electrical: licensed electrician
A plug-in appliance going into an existing, working receptacle needs no electrician. A new 240-volt dryer or range circuit, a receptacle that has to be added or moved, a hardwired wall oven or cooktop, or a disconnect for a built-in refrigerator is premises wiring under the Electrical License Act and belongs to a Construction Industries Board licensed electrician. Bartlesville and Dewey also require permits and inspections for that work inside city limits, and the electrician handles those; on a rural water district road outside Ochelata or Ramona the county's rules apply instead, and the same licensed hands do the work.
Gas and propane: licensed and permitted
A gas range or dryer connects to a shutoff with a flexible connector, and the piping and shutoff up to that point are mechanical or plumbing licensee work in Oklahoma. Out on the county roads toward Copan Lake and Vera where the fuel is propane, the regulator, tank, and system piping belong to an installer permitted by the state LP Gas Administration, and a conversion kit on the appliance side is where the technician's part of the job ends. Nothing on this site describes gas piping as appliance work, because it is not.
What the technician does on install day
Unboxes and inspects for freight damage, reverses door swing to suit a galley kitchen in an older Bartlesville house, mounts the anti-tip bracket on a range, installs a stacking kit on a laundry pair in a Dewey closet, levels the machine, fits a propane conversion kit where the manufacturer provides one, hauls off the old unit, and runs a test cycle on the existing connections. Anything the state assigns elsewhere is called out, quoted separately, and routed. That is the whole method.
